Patti:
I refuse to screw up your love life.
Frances:
Don't be ridiculous, Patti. You are my love life.
Movie: One, Two, Three(1961)
C.R. MacNamara:
Ten minutes early! That's a hell of a way to run an airline! Planes are supposed to be late, not early!
Movie: Darkness Waits(2007)
Cody:
A fucking flashlight that works... is that too much to ask?
Clay:
Electricity, is *that* too much to ask?
Movie: G:MT Greenwich Mean Time(1999)
Charlie:
Look.. shut up.. be still and focus on the glass pyramid across the wharf. You're in the lift, now your going up, in front of you is a big red stop button, what do you do? Do you continue you to your way to the top? Or live out your life in total ignorance?
Movie: The Magnificent Seven(1960)
[as Chris, Vin and Chico are about to leave the village]
Old Man:
You could a-stay, you know. They wouldn't be sorry to have you a-stay.
Vin:
They won't be sorry to see us go, either.
Old Man:
Yes. The fighting is over. Your work is done. For them, each season has its tasks. If there were a season for gratitude, they'd show it more.
Vin:
We didn't get any more than we expected, old man.
Old Man:
Only the farmers have won. They remain forever. They are like the land itself. You helped rid them of Calvera, the way a strong wind helps rid them of locusts. You're like the wind - blowing over the land and... passing on. Vaya con dios.
Chris:
Adios.
Movie: The Baby-Sitters Club(1995)
Kristy Thomas:
Hi, I'm Kristy. I'm the founding member of the baby-sitters club. I don't mean to brag or anything but we're famous, here in Stoneybrook. Everybody knows us. That's because everybody uses us. You call one number, and get connected with seven incredible baby-sitters. This is Stacey, she's our club treasurer. She's good at keeping track of money, she's also good at spending it. Stace was raised in New York City. Sometimes she thinks she still lives there. That's Mary-Ann. When we were little, we used to live next door to each other. She's kind of quiet, kind of serious. Why are we friends? They say opposites attract. Dawn's Mary-Ann's step-sister. She grew up in California. Dawn really cares about the environment. Her biggest regret is that she wasn't born on earth day. Claudia's an amazing artist. She's REALLY talented. I mean, do you anybody who can take a fourk and a hammer and turn it into... That? And of course Mallory, she's a junior member of the club. She started her novel when she turned eleven and is determined to finish it by the time she's eleven and a half. Jesse's Mallory's best friend and another junior member of the club. Jesse's motto is ''Why walks when you can dance?''. You know, we're more than just a club. We're friends. Best friends. Nothing could ever change that.
